The search for innovative solutions, supported by applied technology, is emerging as one of the most promising fields to address major global challenges and improving the living conditions of the most vulnerable groups.
There are many areas of reality where innovation and the application of appropriate technology have a great potential and relevance in terms of development: agrotechnology and agribusiness; the health sector and pandemic management; the environment and the measurement and mitigation of the effects of climate change; or the digital industry and e-commerce, to name a few.
CIDEAL promotes applied research related to technological innovation, fostering public-private partnerships and other multi-stakeholder alliances. In this line, we carry out various initiatives in Mali, Niger, Haiti, and the Dominican Republic.
